SEE CHEVENING ALUMNI CONFERENCE  

The first South East Europe (SEE) Chevening Alumni Conference held on 3-5 April 2009 in Belgrade gathered 36 participants from nine different Chevening alumni associations and networks. The Conference represented an excellent opportunity for the Chevening Scholars to establish mutual links, exchange experiences, share common problems and suggest possible solutions, and agree on joint actions. The conference served as a platform for the conclusion of a Protocol on Cooperation between the five, formally registered Chevening alumni associations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia. In addition, a Joint Briefing Paper for HMG ministries was drafted.
